ADULT CHOIR

Ps. 68:24-26
(Vs 24) Your procession has come into view, O God,
                 the procession of my God and King into the sanctuary
(Vs 25) In front are the singers, after them the musicians;
               with then are the maidens playing tambourines.
(Vs 26) Praise God in the congregation;
               praise the Lord in the assembly of Israel.

      Our adult choir is an important part of bringing the body of Christ to the throne of grace. We seek to create an atmosphere of praise, worship, and adoration to our Lord, Jesus Christ. We are the frontline of bringing people to a heart of worship and inviting the power of the Holy Spirit into our midst.
      Faithful and consistent attendance is an important part of choir membership. If you are a born again believer seeking to become a vital part of LHBC music ministry, then we invite you to come and join us on Sunday nights after the worship service for our choir rehearsal.
      The LHBC adult choir is committed to using the talents God has given us to minister through music. Reaching up, reaching out, and reaching in is our goal by glorifying God and exalting the Lord Jesus through the praise and worship of our voices. PRAISE BAND

2 Chronicles 5:13 (NIV) The trumpeters and singers joined in unison, as with one voice, to give praise and thanks to the Lord. Accompanied by trumpets, cymbals and other instruments, they raised their voices in praise to the Lord and sang: “He is good; His love endures forever.” Then the temple of the Lord was filled with a cloud, and the priests could not perform their service because of the cloud, for the glory of the Lord filled the temple.

       Our praise band is a group of gifted musicians that support and lead the instrumental music of our adult worship. They have been called and set apart for this service to the Lord and to the church. There is a very high commitment level in the responsibilities of this group, such as, extra practice and weekly commitments on a consistent basis as to ensure a high quality of skill required to lead in worship each week as well as special events and activities of the church.
      It is required to try out for any position in the praise band. If you are interested please call the church office and set up an appointment.
