Long Heights Baptist Church Music Ministry

      The music ministry of Long Heights is just one part of our desire to lead people to the throne of grace in worship of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
    
             
OUR PURPOSE is to:

Reach up by creating a worshipful environment that will draw the lost to the cross of Christ, so that it would break hearts to repentance by preparing them to hear God’s Word and receive salvation. That it would spiritually rejuvenate the believer and bring them in a humble and broken spirit of devotion before the Lord God Almighty.

Reach out by providing music mission and evangelistic opportunities to go into our communities, our state, our nation, and around the world to help spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Reach in by edifying the body of Christ through our God given talents, gifts, and abilities in music. Our goal is to enhance the worship experience with music, by the power of the Holy Spirit working through us in a way that will lead those who are in Christ to a heart of worship and devotion in building His kingdom.

      There are many opportunities to do this. We have adult choir, youth choir, children’s choir, praise band, praise vocal team, solos, drama, music mission teams, and evangelistic music ministries.

      Here at Long Heights our mission is Reaching Others for Christ’s Kingdom. This is also our mission for the music ministry. May everything we do point to Jesus. Reaching up, reaching out and reaching in through music.
